Mother Mother 'Normalize' the abnormal with their new single

Platinum-certified alternative-pop band Mother Mother has exciting news for their fans. They have announced the release of their first new music of 2023, a captivating and progressive anthem titled "Normalize." Produced by frontman Ryan Guldemond and co-produced by Jason "JVP" Van Poederooyen at Vancouver's renowned Warehouse Studios, this alt-pop gem follows the success of their US Certified Gold breakout single from 2022, "Hayloft II."

Accompanying the release is a powerful music video directed by acclaimed horror filmmaker Colin Minihan, who previously collaborated with the band on videos for "Body of Years" and "O My Heart." "Normalize" is now available on all digital streaming platforms.

Lead vocalist Ryan Guldemond describes "Normalize" as a song about the metaphorical death that occurs when we suppress our true selves, sacrificing our spirit to conform to societal norms. It serves as an anthem for the outcasts, celebrating uniqueness and encouraging everyone to embrace their individuality. Mother Mother is grateful for their diverse audience and urges them to continue being true to themselves, whatever that may mean. Defying the concept of normalcy, they express their indifference towards its definition reported MarkMeets media.
